Description:
Hardly 38 kms from Dehradun is the queen of Hill Stations, Mussoorie. Offering stupendous view of the valley and the hills, this place came into being around the 1830s. Captain Young, an adventurous military officer in 1827, discovered Mussoorie. He was lured by the extraordinary beautiful ridge and laid the foundation of Mussoorie. What began as a small settlement grew into a large station to turn into a hill station of today overlooking the sprawling Doon valley and the city of Dehradun.
Bhadraj temple, Mussorie Lake, Vinog Mountain Quail Sanctuary, Camel's Back Road, Childer's Lodge, Nag Devta Temple, Kempty Fall, Yamuna Bridge, Surkhanda Devi, Dhanolti etc are the places to visit in Mussoorie.
