ispa is located 20 km north of Keylong along the Manali-Leh Highway and the Bhaga river. There are approximately 20 villages between Jispa and Keylong.

This small village on the way to Leh from Manali is one of the preferred boarding places on the route. A very tiny hamlet with just about 78 households, it offers a good night's stay on the way to Leh.
